Additional Part Details:
This coolant temperature sensor is key to cool and smooth running of your SAAB. It's fastened to the cylinder head near the thermostat housing and can often fault with a P0116 and or a P0119 code. This sensor faulting can cause the temperature gauge to malfunction and can even cause overheating.
It's a good preventative maintenance item to tackle and it does not take long and is rather inexpensive, it's wise to purchase a thermostat while you're in the area! Just make sure to get the correct one for your application.
