Engine air filter replacement is an important part of your vehicles maintenance, it allows your engine to breathe clean air free of dust and contaminants.  A dirty air filter can restrict airflow and in the worse case scenario hinder engine performance and fuel economy noticeably.  It's a good idea to replace these on your SAAB 900 every 4 years or 60'000kms, whichever comes first.

Additional Part Details:

MANN is the OE manufacturer.  On the C900, the air filter housing is located under the hood on the driver's side, in front of the coolant expansion tank.  No tools are needed to replace it, the airbox cover is fastened with 4 metal clips.
