Engine air filter replacement is an important part of your vehicles maintenance, it allows your engine to breathe clean air free of dust and contaminants. A dirty air filter can restrict airflow and in the worse case scenario hinder engine performance and fuel economy noticeably. It's a good idea to replace these on your SAAB every 4 years or 60'000kms, whichever comes first.

Additional Part Details:
MANN is the OE manufacturer. To replace this engine air filter, locate the black plastic airbox located on the left side of the engine when facing it, loosen the torx screws holding in the cover and simply lift it to reveal the air filter. Remove the old filter, clean the airbox and finally insert the new filter. Make sure the gasket around the filter is well seated before fastening the 4 metal clips back.
This filter is used on SAAB OG9-3 models using Trionic 7 engine management.
