It's essential to replace the gasket on your oil drain plug during every oil change, it's a good way to complete a thorough oil change on your SAAB. It ensures you do not have a small leak from your oil drain plug, which can then make the bottom of your engine somewhat messy!

Additional Part Details:
This particular drain plug gasket is a copper crush washer. The drain plug it installs on is quite small and does not need to be tightened very much. These should only be tightened to the point that the copper washer slightly crushes and deforms.
Tightening torque for the drain plug is 18.5 ft-lbs.
This is also used as the water pump plug gasket on 4 cylinder 9000 models.
