It's essential to replace the gasket on your oil drain plug during every oil change, it's a good way to complete a thorough oil change on your SAAB. It ensures you do not have a small leak from your oil drain plug, which can then make the bottom of your engine somewhat messy!

Additional Part Details:
This particular drain plug gasket features a metal core with an outer rubber seal, tighten the drain plug to spec, or until the rubber is properly compressed. SAAB started using these on the C900 instead of the old style copper washer to prevent technicians from over tightening the drain plug and cracking the transmission casing, it was effective! It can be used instead of the old style copper crush washer if desired.
