Additional Part Details:

This is a direct fit dash vent knobs.  The newest of our beloved SAAB 9000 models are over 25 years old.  Chances are that your dash vent knobs are crumbling in your finger tips when you go to adjust your airflow.  This kit includes all 4 vent knobs needed to replace all the old ones.  This is the matte variety made of ABS plastic.    

Installation is very easy and we even have a video showcasing how to put these on properly without damaging the dash vents.  To remove the old ones, you can either use your fingers to crush them and allow them to disintegrate or you can use a blade to cut an incision into the vent knob and peel it apart.  Once that is done, clean the vent knob shaft and align the cross shaped hole in the vent knob with the cross shape of the vent knob shaft and press them on gently and apply even pressure in pulses to avoid damaging the dash vent.  Make sure they sit nearly flush with the ball joint of the dash vent to keep that factory look! If you are having a hard time with pressing them on, ensure to clean the dash vent shaft and you can use a touch of silicone spray in the knob itself to allow it to slide on easier.  Once that is done, enjoy your renewed dash vents!
