Bosch was the first iteration of this fuel filter's OE manufacturer. When replacing these fuel filters, be sure to use the correct tools to ensure the plastic clips come out cleanly. Failure to remove the clips properly could cause the fuel lines to have a poor connection to the filter and cause dangerous fuel leaks. If doing this job as a DIY, wear eye protection and install the filter in the correct orientation, with the arrows on the filter pointing to the fuel lines that go to the engine.
