This particular drain plug gasket is an aluminum crush washer. It crushes easily and evenly and there's no need to tighten it too much.
Tightening torque for the drain plug is 28 ft-lbs.
This is also used on P80, P2 and P1 cars for the 4, 5 and 6 speed automatic transmission drain plug seal.
Tightening torque for the automatic transmission drain plug is 29.5 ft-lbs.
